Leads the strategy, design, deployment, maintenance, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of automated test equipment supporting engineering, manufacturing, troubleshooting, and airline maintenance. Manages ATE personnel, equipment roadmaps, budgets, vendors, configuration control, documentation, safety, quality, inventory, and operational readiness. Develops test procedures and reports, coordinates laboratories, equipment, schedules, regulatory authorities, suppliers, and OEMs, and supports FAA and EASA compliance. Performs failure analysis, corrective-action documentation, technical reviews, and test readiness activities. Mentors junior engineers and requires hands-on experience with environmental, vibration, acceleration, and EMI testing in an AS9100 quality environment.

Leads regulatory certification and airworthiness compliance for airborne equipment and systems installed on transport-category aircraft. Develops certification, qualification, flammability, safety, and test documentation; coordinates testing, conformity inspections, suppliers, customers, integrators, and regulatory authorities; investigates test failures; and interfaces with the FAA and EASA. Advises management on certification and airworthiness issues while ensuring complete substantiation data packages and approval of IFE system installation designs.

Manages and produces commercial aviation maintenance documentation, including Component Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, Service Letters, training materials, and regulatory publications. Authors and revises content to ATA iSpec2200 and S1000D standards, interprets engineering drawings and vendor data, coordinates with subject matter experts, estimates publication timelines and costs, performs quality control, and may supervise documentation personnel.

Supports repair logistics and inventory operations by recording material transactions, receiving and issuing inventory, labeling and counting stock, conducting cycle counts, and shipping materials to domestic, international, and third-party repair locations. The role also prepares shipping paperwork, assists offsite repair stations, and collaborates with internal departments while using business and inventory tracking systems.

Leads system integration and testing for in-flight connectivity products, including test strategy, planning, lab readiness, manual and automated execution, CI/CD validation, defect tracking, reporting, and requirements traceability. Coordinates cross-functional engineering, product, operations, customer, and program teams while ensuring aviation standards compliance. The role also mentors junior engineers, supports continuous improvement, and contributes to field deployment and customer activities.
