Own sourcing strategy and supplier execution for drone product families from early development through high-rate production. Lead supplier selection, RFX processes, commercial negotiations, cost reduction, supplier risk mitigation, and sourcing agreements. Partner with Engineering, Product Development, Supplier Quality, Planning, Purchasing, Finance, and Operations on NPI programs, prototype builds, production ramps, supplier readiness, and material requirements. Manage supplier relationships, QBRs, scorecards, approved supplier governance, and item master data in an onsite defense manufacturing environment.

Develop and maintain flight-critical firmware for UAVs: implement flight modes and control algorithms, port and tune sensors across flight stacks, integrate datalinks and payloads, run bench and flight tests, debug hardware-coupled failures, and write unit/integration tests with SITL/HITL support.

Lead design and operation of an enterprise cybersecurity program: architect detection and response, manage Defender XDR/SIEM/MDR and endpoints, run incident response and forensics, perform audits, vulnerability assessments and pen tests, enforce NIST/ITAR controls, automate security workflows, and develop change control and security awareness programs.

Design, build, and deploy manufacturing automation equipment and test systems to increase throughput, quality, and efficiency. Lead automation from concept through production, integrate hardware/software, support NPI transitions, perform ROI and process capability analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale production.

Lead and build the electrical design assurance function: define worst-case circuit analysis, derating, DFMEA, and formal EV/DV verification; plan and execute EV/DV campaigns (thermal, vibration, EMC/EMI, power quality); design and build HIL stations, test fixtures, and automated data acquisition; partner with NPI and production to ensure DFT and transfer of verification into manufacturing; hire and develop engineering staff.
