Own and expand model-based embedded control software for a power conversion system. Develop and tune controls, state machines, diagnostics, fault responses, and degraded modes using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow. Validate through simulation, software- and hardware-in-the-loop testing, bench testing, and system commissioning. Build and administer enterprise supply chain and manufacturing systems (MES/ERP/MRP/PLM/QMS), design AI-enabled and automated workflows, implement integrations and ETL pipelines, maintain master data and system hygiene, support rollouts and vendor coordination, and produce documentation, tests, and audit evidence to ensure reliable execution and compliance.

Establishes system and component reliability requirements, analyzes degradation and failure risks, evaluates design tradeoffs, develops reliability predictions and test strategies, and drives reliability growth. Partners with multidisciplinary engineering, manufacturing, testing, and operations teams to improve reactor performance, maintenance, and mission success. Serves as the technical authority for reliability methods, tools, standards, dashboards, and best practices.

Own turbomachinery hardware for nuclear reactors from concept through production. Lead design, analysis, manufacturing, testing, qualification, supplier coordination, requirements translation, verification planning, risk reduction, and technical issue resolution. Coordinate cross-functional engineering disciplines, investigate manufacturing and test issues, improve reliability and manufacturability, and communicate technical status to leadership.

Design, develop, test, and validate mechanical reactor reactivity-control systems and precision actuation mechanisms. Responsibilities include defining requirements and architecture, performing mechanism trade studies and FMEA, designing components for high-temperature and radiation environments, conducting design-for-manufacturability assessments, developing verification plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams and vendors.
