Design, analyze, develop, and verify guidance, navigation, and control software for spaceflight systems. Perform simulations, Monte Carlo analyses, modeling, system testing, and system-level analysis to improve reliability and capabilities. Develop device drivers and control, management, and data-plane functions; integrate software with hardware; debug using telemetry and hardware tools; and contribute to documentation, reviews, testing automation, CI/CD, and TDD. Lead development efforts, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across teams to deliver reliable, high-performance space communications software.

Perform fluids and thermal analyses for lunar vehicle pumps using CFD and hand calculations; provide design recommendations, run secondary flow and thermal models, support test programs, and guide pump development from CAD to flight-qualified hardware. Lead a small fluids-analysis team and optimize pump designs for efficiency, reliability, manufacturability, mass, and leakage.

Manage program scheduling and controls for MK1 Lunar Lander IPTs: maintain fully networked, resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedules, collect status updates, track schedule and cost performance (EVM), produce metrics and insights, and drive IPT actions to resolve schedule drivers and improve delivery.

Develop and implement on-board autonomy and control algorithms for lunar landers. Derive requirements, build Simulink control code (autocoding target), run simulations and unit tests, support integration, verification, and validation, and collaborate with GN&C and subsystem engineers.

Conversion role for interns to full-time Fluid Systems Engineer. Must have completed Blue Origin 2026 internship, hold a BS in mechanical/aerospace/astronautical engineering, be able to start full-time by Sept 2027, and work independently and on rapid development teams. Strong communication, hands-on experience, and US work authorization required.

Design, analyze, and qualify precision gimbal and pointing mechanisms for space optical communications. Own requirements, perform structural/thermal/dynamic trades and FEA, plan and execute vibration/shock/thermal vacuum testing, author design and test documentation, coordinate integration and suppliers, and support production transition and reliability analyses.

Lead and grow the Blue Ring structures and Loads & Dynamics team. Oversee structural design, FEA model development and validation, loads generation, dynamic analysis, testing correlation, program reporting, roadmaps, budgeting, and stakeholder communication to ensure safe, reliable spacecraft hardware meets schedule and mission requirements.

Conversion role for a 2026 Blue Origin intern to full-time Quality Engineer I. Provide centralized corporate support across business units, work on rapid development programs, and collaborate on engineering and quality activities. Requires a B.S. in mechanical/aerospace/astronautical engineering, strong communication skills, self-directed problem solving, and U.S. work authorization. Preferred experience includes relevant internships, hands-on projects, and co-curricular leadership.
