Leads proposals, pursuits, early integration studies, and payload integration projects for New Glenn NASA programs. Coordinates multidisciplinary teams, customer communications, requirements, schedules, risks, performance reporting, and project documentation. Model orbital mechanics, coverage, orbit optimization, RF and optical links, beam assignments, traffic routing, spacecraft power, deployment sequences, and system performance. Collaborate across spacecraft, payload, network, GNC, and mission operations teams; validate models against analytical, test, and telemetry data; support architecture trades and commercial planning; maintain simulation infrastructure; and mentor junior engineers.

Designs and releases mechanical layouts, detail parts, assemblies, drawings, and model-based definition datasets for Blue Origin’s lunar transfer stage vehicle. Uses Creo Parametric and Windchill, applies GD&T and tolerance analysis, manages complex CAD assemblies and bills of materials, and supports spacecraft structural design, material selection, manufacturing processes, and design-for-manufacturability in cross-functional aerospace teams.

Develops and maintains company-wide eCAD component libraries, including schematic symbols, footprints, and component data. Designs and lays out high-performance aerospace PCBs using Altium Designer, supporting high-speed, high-power, HDI, RF, and mixed-signal applications. Ensures compliance with manufacturing standards, performs DFM/DFA/DFT assessments, resolves layout issues, contributes to process improvements, reviews other designers’ work, and mentors junior layout resources.

Manages end-to-end procurement and subcontracting activities, including RFPs/RFQs, cost analysis, negotiation strategies, strategic agreements, compliance, supplier performance, and invoice resolution. Ensures production materials meet schedule, budget, and technical requirements. Develops scalable supply chain processes, maintains accurate records, tracks metrics, resolves issues, and supports continuous improvement while applying government regulations, AS9100 standards, and engineering data requirements.

Owns end-to-end electrical systems and electrical power system engineering for TeraWave spacecraft, including requirements, architecture, interfaces, power budgets, verification, testing, risk management, and technical closure. Partners across spacecraft bus, payload, propulsion, software, mission operations, and specialty engineering teams to support reliable LEO and MEO satellite production and operations.

Owns hardware reliability engineering for TeraWave satellites and payloads, including reliability requirements, FMEAs, fault trees, reliability predictions, failure assessments, design robustness, radiation and environmental degradation analyses, testing, supplier reviews, and risk reporting. The role supports spacecraft bus, RF and optical payload hardware, avionics, propulsion, GNC, thermal systems, structures, mechanisms, harnesses, and electronic parts across the product lifecycle.

Design, develop, and verify scalable simulation environments and models for TeraWave satellite flight software. Build software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop, real-time, and spacecraft integration test capabilities. Collaborate with hardware, systems, autonomy, and test teams to model spacecraft behavior, validate interfaces, and test nominal and off-nominal scenarios. Support on-orbit troubleshooting, software integration and verification, and mentor junior engineers.

Architects, develops, integrates, and verifies embedded flight software for TeraWave’s satellite constellation. Responsibilities include designing reusable flight software frameworks, command and telemetry systems, fault management, CI/CD infrastructure, testing environments, secure OTA updates, and cybersecurity capabilities. The role collaborates with avionics, GNC, communications, power, propulsion, thermal, payload, and autonomy teams while establishing software architecture and quality standards.
