Own build reliability for flight avionics hardware across its lifecycle. Lead readiness criteria, manufacturing process maturation, quality reviews, risk retirement, root-cause investigations, containment, corrective actions, cost reduction, and cross-functional alignment across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and mission assurance. Analyze build data, improve process controls, support mission-critical events, and mentor teams while ensuring reliable production and flight readiness for human-rated space station systems.

Designs, builds, commissions, and troubleshoots automated avionics test systems for human-rated space stations. Develops component and system test cases, validates results, leads design reviews, documents systems, and supports operator handover. Supports aerospace structural and mechanisms test campaigns for Haven-1 components, including test setup, instrumentation, DAQ operation, data logging, troubleshooting, and procedure execution. Performs hydraulic, pneumatic, and structural testing; fabricates fixtures and test equipment; follows drawings and schematics; improves test processes; maintains instrumentation calibration and equipment readiness; and assists with training junior team members. The role requires hands-on fabrication, electrical and instrumentation experience, autonomous problem-solving, and occasional travel to Mojave.

Plans campus recruiting events, career fairs, student engagements, and intern activities. Own system architecture, design, analysis, testing, manufacturing readiness, qualification, launch preparation, and on-orbit operations. Guide technical trade studies, requirements, cross-functional integration, design reviews, and root-cause analysis while ensuring reliability, safety, and production-ready hardware. The role also manages workloads, mentors engineers, and supports rapid prototyping and iterative testing.

Develops and optimizes manufacturing processes, equipment, procedures, and work instructions for spacecraft thermal and environmental control systems. Responsibilities include designing and testing pressurized ground equipment, troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, oxygen, refrigerant, and control systems, supporting supplier processes, performing hands-on assembly and integration, resolving manufacturing issues, and improving quality, efficiency, and manufacturability.
