Leads marketing communications, events, prospecting, escalations, and cross-enterprise collaboration while influencing leaders and developing strategic opportunities.

Leads a team of underwriters or underwriting managers, overseeing talent development, performance, compensation, communication, and underwriting strategy. Drives underwriting excellence, change initiatives, portfolio performance, profitable growth, and external broker relationships. Acts as an escalation point for complex underwriting decisions and may continue underwriting policies directly. Contributes to business planning, portfolio management, marketing, or product development as applicable.

Investigates and manages moderately complex to complex workers compensation claims, determining coverage, liability, compensability, reserves, damages, and settlements. Coordinates litigation, experts, mediations, arbitrations, and field investigations; refers cases to subrogation or special investigations teams. Provides technical guidance, mentors and trains team members, assists with workload allocation, and participates in quality reviews and claim committees.

Evaluates and underwrites Middle Market technology insurance accounts, making data-driven decisions on risk selection, coverage, pricing, and terms. Analyzes financials, exposures, claims, controls, and technology-sector risks; manages broker and client relationships; monitors portfolio performance and emerging trends; supports profitable growth, product and process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives. Mentors junior underwriters without direct management responsibility.

Underwrite Middle Market technology accounts by evaluating financials, exposures, loss history, controls, and pricing. Manage broker/client relationships, monitor portfolio performance and emerging tech risks, contribute to product/process improvements, and mentor junior underwriters while collaborating with claims, actuarial, risk engineering, and distribution teams to support profitable growth.
