Lead the Full Stack Software discipline by defining technical vision, governing tools/processes/training, building a community of practice, enabling sector-wide engineering toolchains, resolving technical shortfalls, embedding lessons learned, and improving software engineering KPIs and interoperability across multiple Aeronautics sites. This is a strategic leadership role focused on governance and enablement rather than day-to-day coding.

Develop and prototype classical and AI/ML-based signal and image processing algorithms, refine algorithms on program data, collaborate with software engineers for implementation, design test suites, and present technical results to stakeholders.

Perform independent cost evaluations and pricing analyses to ensure consistent estimating practices. Analyze basis-of-estimates, quantify risks and opportunities, develop tools and training, collaborate with programs and stakeholders, and support acquisition through program execution and closeout.
