Design and develop Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) for spacecraft integration and test. Responsibilities include 3D CAD modeling, GD&T drafting, first-order structural analysis, fabrication/vendor support, requirements definition, design reviews (PDR/CDR), producing drawings and work instructions, resolving non-conformances, and supporting integration and test operations.

Design and lead mission systems architectures and subsystems for DoD platforms. Perform trades, modeling & simulation, verification/validation planning, requirements decomposition, customer/supplier engagements, and support proposals and technical business development. Maintain metrics and manage risks.

Prepare budgets and schedules and perform Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks (WBS, baseline, EACs, cost risk, variance analysis), produce month-end Earned Value reports, forecast cash and expenditures, brief customers, support audits and reviews, and maintain funding records for intercompany programs and the site GM.

Perform structural analysis and build/solve large-scale FEA models for military avionics. Verify results by hand-calcs, document methods and test plans, support design reviews, MRB, and on-site integration for Sentinel program.

Lead the Sentinel NIMS program team, accountable for cost, schedule, and technical performance. Manage contract negotiations, program planning, hardware configuration, integration and test, risk management, EVMS financial baselines, and customer engagement. Oversee cross-functional teams, drive hardware release execution, and support acquisition and manufacturing transitions. Requires on-site work and active Secret clearance.

Lead systems engineering baseline maturation and incremental capability insertions for the Sentinel program. Drive model-based and digital engineering adoption, lead small or cross-disciplinary teams, and manage software/IT-centric, cloud, HPC, and virtualized environments across the systems lifecycle to support development, production, and sustainment.

Design and integrate spacecraft mechanical systems including architecture/layouts, structures, thermal and electrical interfaces; perform CAD modeling, drawing release, integration support, testing, and program milestone support.

Lead systems engineering for optical payloads including architecture, trade studies, requirements allocation, modeling/simulation, and payload hardware development. Support acquisitions, design, integration, testing, performance analysis, and subcontractor management for space and ground systems.

Lead cross-functional teams to plan, develop, and deliver compliant F-35 proposals from RFP to submission. Establish schedules, manage proposal budgets and knowledge libraries, drive reviews, report metrics, and support operations, capture, risk, and stakeholder management for production, development, sustainment, and support efforts.

Lead systems engineering for optical payloads: perform architecture trade studies, requirements allocation and validation, modeling and simulation, payload hardware development, integration and test, and manage subcontractors to deliver advanced spaceborne optical/RF sensing and communications systems.
