As a Senior PCB Designer at SpaceX, you'll create layouts for in-house board designs, collaborate with engineers, and improve design processes.

Design, build, and maintain highly reliable full-stack applications used across SpaceX. Own architecture, development, testing, deployment, and performance optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, prototype solutions, and support production systems for launch and Starlink operations.

Design, develop, and maintain highly reliable full‑stack applications used across SpaceX for manufacturing, launch, and satellite operations. Own product lifecycle from prototyping to deployment, collaborate on architecture and code reviews, optimize performance, and implement testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and operational tooling.

Manage COMSEC accounts including key issuance and destruction; operate, configure, and troubleshoot End Crypto Units (KG-175, KGR-42, KG-250); perform inventories, self-inspections, and compliance activities; prepare security and key management deliverables; and interface with customer counterparts and leadership to protect national security requirements.

Develop and maintain embedded and ground-based software for a large satellite constellation. Design, prototype, test, and deploy Linux-based C/C++/Rust systems, networking, cryptography, simulations, and test tools. Work with interdisciplinary teams and classified customers, support on-orbit rollouts, and maintain required security clearance while working extended hours as needed.

Own Raptor chamber and nozzle hardware across production, test, launch, and reuse. Support design reviews, manufacturing, testing, anomaly investigations, and block upgrades while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve mass, cost, reliability, and performance.

Manage a portfolio of US federal customers post-contract: onboard, ensure successful activation, resolve issues, retain and grow accounts, communicate customer feedback internally, lead region/vertical strategy, and design process/system improvements to scale enterprise operations.

Manage monthly close for Starlink subsidiaries including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, intercompany and FX; coordinate international statutory filings and VAT/GST matters; support tax compliance, transfer pricing, and e-invoicing across LATAM; improve processes and reporting; prepare audit schedules and support external auditors; participate in special projects.

Lead end-to-end IT audits focused on IT general controls and SDLC across packaged and in-house applications. Plan and perform SOX 404 ITGC testing and walkthroughs, assess control design and operating effectiveness, identify gaps and remediation, collaborate with IT/Engineering/Finance, manage external auditors, and deliver reporting to leadership.

Manage sourcing and supplier programs for PCB/PCBA categories, drive cost reduction and risk mitigation, negotiate and manage contracts, track supplier SLAs/KPIs, perform market and financial analysis, and streamline procurement processes. Role requires stakeholder collaboration, issuing purchase orders, resolving invoice blocks, and up to 50% domestic/international travel. Position is onsite in Hawthorne, CA.
