Conducts independent AML and fraud investigations involving retail banking, brokerage, cryptocurrency, and virtual assets. Performs on-chain transaction tracing, evaluates sanctions and money-laundering risks, determines whether activity warrants Suspicious Activity Report filing, and documents case findings. Supports detection improvements, process enhancements, training, and ad hoc investigations while maintaining knowledge of BSA/AML, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, and virtual-asset regulations.

Maintains accurate case records, coordinates with attorneys and outside counsel, supports complex legal requests, and ensures timely responses while handling confidential information and multiple deadlines.

Processes regular and off-cycle U.S. payroll, calculates wages and deductions, reconciles payroll reports, validates timekeeping data, resolves employee inquiries, supports audits, maintains compliance with payroll regulations and SOX controls, documents procedures, and recommends process improvements.

Supports the Litigation and Arbitration group through end-to-end matter management, document collection and review, legal holds, invoice and vendor tracking, litigation tracking, and legal workflow management. The paralegal assists in-house counsel with complex legal requests, coordinates with attorneys and outside counsel, supports subpoena and e-filing processes, and manages multiple deadlines while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

The Sanctions Advisor provides second-line compliance oversight across the enterprise, advising on global sanctions risks including OFAC, UN, EU, UK, and cryptocurrency-related matters. Responsibilities include investigations, risk analysis, screening control tuning, policy development, regulatory monitoring, product assessments, governance reporting, and support for audits and examinations. The role partners with AML leadership, Compliance, Risk, product managers, engineers, and business units to maintain effective sanctions controls and provide guidance on complex transactions and emerging regulatory requirements.

The Staff Credit Policy Analyst leads the development and governance of credit policies for home loans, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency while collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Lead SoFi’s enterprise sanctions compliance program across business lines and jurisdictions. Advise compliance, product, engineering, and business leaders on global sanctions risks; develop policies, controls, risk appetites, and governance; support risk assessments, regulatory exams, audits, and third-party reviews; monitor regulatory developments; and guide high-risk transactions, market expansions, mergers, and product updates.
