Plans, leads, and executes assurance engagements for state and local government clients. Audits complex transactions, prepares financial statements and reports, researches accounting and auditing issues, manages client relationships, and schedules, delegates, and trains team members while collaborating with firm leadership to deliver quality services.

Advise clients on federal tax accounting methods, including income and expense recognition, inventory, capitalization, cost recovery, and accounting periods. Research complex tax issues, prepare calculations, analyses, Form 3115 filings, technical memoranda, IRS responses, and ruling requests. Manage multiple client projects, collaborate with firm leaders, and mentor staff while delivering accurate, timely solutions.

Lead transaction tax engagements including tax due diligence, structuring, modeling, and report writing for acquisitions and dispositions. Manage client relationships, mentor team members, coordinate with specialty tax groups, and oversee engagement budgets, timelines, and deliverables.

Prepare and review sales tax returns using Avalara, resolve data issues and nexus discrepancies, perform tax research and special projects, work with clients across industries, and train/mentor team members and interns.

Advise clients on multistate sales and use tax issues, lead compliance and audit defense, identify tax savings, manage engagements and client relationships, leverage automation, and mentor junior staff within the SALT practice.

Serve as a hands-on interim or project-based accounting leader (e.g., Interim Controller, Financial Reporting Manager). Design and improve accounting processes, lead system implementations, manage client engagements, and provide senior-level accounting, finance, tax, and audit expertise for larger clients.

Lead and review tax engagements; consult clients on succession and tax planning; review complex individual and corporate returns; supervise and develop staff; perform tax procedures and represent the firm at industry events and trainings.

Lead technical design and engineering standards for Palantir Foundry applications. Guide architecture, data modeling, integrations, and platform enablement. Conduct design reviews, mentor engineers, manage cross-project technical planning, and act as escalation for production issues. Communicate technical tradeoffs to stakeholders and improve operational readiness, testing, and deployment practices.
