Handles a high volume of inbound calls regarding life and annuity new business. Provides accurate, timely support to financial advisors, policyholders, and internal partners; researches and documents inquiries and resolutions; follows privacy regulations and company procedures; performs administrative tasks and assigned projects. Designs, develops, tests, documents, and supports secure external data integrations using .NET, Azure, Informatica, Snowflake, APIs, ETL, and file-based interfaces. Leads technical delivery, performs impact analysis, supports production systems, troubleshoots defects, collaborates with business and technology stakeholders, and mentors engineers. The role owns integration architecture and solutions for insurance and financial-services partners, including DTCC and iPipeline feeds.

Leads competitive intelligence for annuity and life insurance products by researching competitor offerings, pricing, positioning, distribution, financial strength, and market developments. Creates comparison grids, reports, presentations, and actionable insights for product, sales, distribution, marketing, actuarial, and senior leadership teams. Maintains market data sources, supports product strategy and development, presents findings, and improves repeatable intelligence processes and analytical tools.

Executes and manages derivative hedging transactions across the full trade lifecycle. Analyzes portfolio exposures, valuations, market sensitivities, profit and loss, hedge performance, and bespoke products. Prepares risk and management reporting, monitors controls, resolves trade issues, and improves processes through Python, SQL, Excel, automation, and data-quality enhancements. Partners with internal teams, counterparties, brokers, and service providers while supporting system enhancements, audits, regulatory requests, and hedging process documentation.

Develop and maintain data engineering solutions using Informatica Data Management Cloud, Control-M, Snowflake, and SQL. Responsibilities include sourcing, transforming, cleansing, ingesting, analyzing, and visualizing data; building automated workflows and scalable ETL processes; supporting data architecture and deployments; and delivering reusable code for large datasets. The role requires collaboration with technical and business partners, troubleshooting, mentoring, and managing multiple priorities.

Build relationships with bank and independent broker-dealer partners to grow annuity sales. Partner with external wholesalers to execute territory sales, marketing, and distribution strategies; profile advisors; conduct calls and training webinars; manage campaigns; provide product education; fulfill marketing requests; and use Salesforce, illustration software, and related tools to support financial professionals.

Lead quality assurance activities for large projects, including test planning, design, execution, management, metrics, and communication. Coordinate internal teams, contract testers, vendors, and UAT sign-offs while providing QA subject matter expertise. Participate in requirements and design reviews, maintain testing documentation, resolve issues, and advance quality engineering practices through automation, AI tooling, and Testing Center of Excellence initiatives.

Manages HR systems strategy, administration, optimization, integrations, data integrity, governance, reporting, and analytics. Partners with HR, IT, Finance, and business leaders to translate requirements into system solutions, improve workflows, support upgrades, and evaluate AI-enabled tools. Serves as the HR technology subject matter expert and may mentor others without formal supervisory responsibility.

Define and maintain product vision and roadmaps for 1-2 teams, prioritize and manage the backlog, translate business needs into epics and user stories, lead cross-functional delivery using Agile/SDLC, assess risks and dependencies, measure product outcomes, manage budget/resource allocation, and drive continuous improvement and stakeholder alignment.

Provides accounting advisory for investment assets and transactions, ensuring GAAP and statutory reporting compliance. Evaluates new investments, derivatives, hedging programs, consolidations, and asset transfers; monitors emerging accounting guidance; develops accounting policies and position papers; educates stakeholders; and supports audit discussions. Requires strong research, communication, judgment, and cross-functional collaboration skills. The role has no formal people-management responsibilities but may provide mentorship and subject-matter guidance.
