The role supports government program offices and requires experience with Agile or DevOps development, national security space systems, and SCI eligibility.

Support the Space Development Agency’s Tranche 3 Program Integration program by developing requirements verification traceability, aggregating data across component programs, reviewing mission scenarios, and analyzing space and ground system architectures. Develop and brief analysis packages for government decision-makers, coordinate with contractors and government stakeholders, and apply modeling, simulation, mission analysis, and mission-level verification and validation expertise to ensure end-to-end mission performance.

Supports federal acquisition and contract administration from pre-award planning through closeout. Prepares acquisition plans, justifications, source-selection plans, and RFP packages; supports awards, modifications, cost and price analysis, negotiations, invoice review, compliance monitoring, documentation, and leadership reporting. Coordinates with program, budget, technical, and legal teams while ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, NRO policies, and internal guidance. Requires government contracting experience and an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

Provides administrative and program support for a launch budget team, including daily operations, action-item and project tracking, meeting coordination, status reporting, correspondence, records management, stakeholder liaison duties, and organizational policy documentation. The role supports government customers and senior decision makers while coordinating internal and external inputs, monitoring project performance, resolving issues, and providing launch event assistance.

Integrates and modernizes mission-critical DoD software systems supporting space command and control. Responsibilities include system-of-systems integration, architecture, APIs, data migration, cloud and platform modernization, technical roadmaps, legacy transition, DevSecOps, testing, cybersecurity coordination, and production deployment. The engineer collaborates with government, engineering, cybersecurity, vendor, and operational teams while advising leadership on modernization priorities, integration risks, technical tradeoffs, and mission continuity.

Provide technical leadership for spacecraft and subsystem design, interfaces, integration, qualification, and environmental testing. Lead design trades, support component and spacecraft test programs, develop test plans and reports, and coordinate with government organizations, contractors, and FFRDC partners. The role focuses on military satellite communications systems engineering and requires full-time onsite work at LAAFB, an active Secret clearance, and approximately 10% travel.
