Designs, develops, analyzes, and verifies RF, digital, and optical communications payloads for space applications. Responsibilities include requirements development, trade studies, system algorithms, MATLAB-based simulations, link and performance analysis, supplier oversight, hardware procurement, design reviews, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and on-orbit operations support. The role supports satellite programs throughout their full life cycle and requires active U.S. Secret clearance and 100% onsite work.

Lead a team of approximately 10 spacecraft structural analysis engineers. Manage technical priorities, budgets, staffing, hiring, task assignments, mentoring, peer reviews, knowledge-sharing activities, analysis process improvements, employee work products, and design review content. Serve as the primary contact for structural analysis team needs while ensuring customer requirements and company objectives are met.

Lead and scale the global supply chain organization across procurement, subcontracts, supplier management, demand planning, inventory, logistics, and shipping. Develop supplier partnerships, mitigate supply risks, establish long-term agreements, improve processes and KPIs, support manufacturing ramps, and ensure cost, quality, delivery, and reliability objectives. The engineer collaborates with flight software and product security teams to deliver reliable products on schedule and within cost targets.

Develop and maintain telemetry and command database schemas, data models, APIs, services, pipelines, and database-backed applications for spacecraft and flight-test systems. Translate engineering requirements into reliable data solutions, implement automated validation and testing, optimize database performance, troubleshoot data pipelines, support CI/CD and migrations, and collaborate with systems, flight software, test, database, and mission operations teams.

Lead manufacturing organization for satellite harness production, overseeing engineers and technicians to ensure safe, high-quality, zero-defect flight hardware. Drive production planning, capacity, workforce, continuous improvement, transitions from low-rate to high-rate production and between facilities, implement AS9100 practices, support proposals and budgets, and coordinate with Boeing counterparts to meet mission and delivery requirements.

Manage personnel security for classified DoD space programs: maintain security records and logs; process clearances, PARs, VARs; use DISS/JADE for risk assessments; support indoctrinations, briefings, self-inspections, and SAP/SCI facility procedures. Ensure compliance with DoD/ICD policies and coordinate with government representatives.

Design, implement, test, and maintain real-time Attitude Control Subsystem models and integrate them into system-level satellite simulators. Lead full software lifecycle activities, develop verification/test procedures, work with multidisciplinary teams, perform trade studies, and deliver high-impact simulation solutions in an agile CI/CD environment.

Lead full-stack development on AWS for complex, distributed systems. Design architectures, translate customer requirements, drive agile lifecycle activities, mentor teams, ensure software quality, implement infrastructure tooling, and support system integration and maintenance.

Design and develop RF and digital satellite communications systems; develop and verify multi-rate fixed-point signal processing algorithms; perform performance analysis, waveform development, trade studies, HDL-level design/verification; and support system-level design, integration, testing, and in-orbit operations.
