The Enterprise Account Executive will drive growth by selling MongoDB’s data platform and MongoDB Atlas to organizations. The role focuses on developing customer relationships, expanding adoption, and contributing to revenue growth across enterprise accounts. Provide high-level administrative support to two VPs in Field Operations: manage complex calendars, travel (including international), events, correspondence, action items, and cross-functional coordination while maintaining discretion and flexibility.

Lead and build MongoDB's Critical Accounts program and Customer Health Platform. Design frameworks, operating model, playbooks, KPIs, and executive reporting. Hire and manage a lean program team, coordinate cross-functional interventions, drive platform roadmap and AI-driven signals, and ensure insights translate into reduced churn and measurable business outcomes.

Design and implement a distributed query optimization system for MongoDB. Research query systems, architect features, write and review production-quality C++ code, debug large codebases, coordinate cross-team integrations, and mentor engineers while shaping long-term roadmap and performance improvements.

Supports the third-party risk management lifecycle by applying risk methodologies, assessing standard vendor relationships, reviewing documentation, coordinating stakeholder and subject matter expert reviews, tracking remediation, maintaining assessment records, and preparing status reports. The role performs data-quality checks, communicates with third parties regarding lower-risk gaps, escalates complex or high-risk issues, and contributes to TPRM process improvements and audit readiness.

Lead MongoDB's global strategic events strategy, governance, and execution. Build and manage a distributed events team, drive AI-native operations, own multi-million-dollar budgets, partner with cross-functional stakeholders to generate pipeline and revenue, and shape flagship conferences, summits, and partner activations with measurable ROI.

Serve as the strategic compensation partner for Sales, advising senior leaders on offers, equity, leveling, promotions, retention, benchmarking, and compensation cycles. Analyze market and internal data, support incentive-plan governance and modeling, lead competitive intelligence, improve compensation programs, manage strategic projects, and develop manager enablement materials. Partner closely with Finance, Sales Operations, Recruiting, Legal, and HR while presenting recommendations to executive stakeholders.

Leads MongoDB’s global communications strategy in an AI-mediated technology market. Partners with the CEO, CMO, and technical executives to shape company narratives, executive communications, media and analyst relations, social and influencer programs, and major corporate moments. Builds relationships with technical media and trusted voices, manages reputation issues, and leads a global communications team spanning corporate, executive, product, analyst, social, internal, and regional communications.

Leads and manages an 8–10-person storage engineering team responsible for MongoDB’s transactional read/write path, durability, availability, performance, indexing, and storage architecture. Owns the roadmap, customer escalations, cross-team initiatives, engineering quality, hiring, coaching, and execution. Partners with Replication, Query, Sharding, Atlas, and other teams on distributed systems and workload-management improvements.
