Assists the Director of Finance with hotel financial operations, accounting functions, budgeting, financial statement preparation, tax compliance, accounts receivable, cash flow, balance sheet reconciliations, asset inventories, and finance department management. Oversees accounting associates, supports hiring and training, ensures adherence to financial procedures and record-retention requirements, and helps safeguard hotel assets while maintaining accurate reporting under GAAP and company standards.

Assists the Controller with hotel accounting, financial reporting, asset safeguarding, and reconciliations. Responsibilities include reviewing night audit work, posting city ledger payments, reconciling credit cards and ledgers, processing invoices and payments, maintaining purchase order and invoice records, handling vendor inquiries, and monitoring billing and collections. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work with accounting records and computer systems.

Manage and administer all HR functions for the hotel including recruiting, training, benefits, compliance, performance management, associate relations, labor relations and policy implementation to support departmental staffing and guest service goals.

Directs the hotel’s financial and accounting activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, capital expenditure control, cash management, accounts receivable, reconciliations, inventory controls, audit compliance, and financial analysis. Advises hotel and corporate leadership on financial performance, risks, policies, and profitability. Oversees labor management, departmental standards, staff development, and recruitment while ensuring compliance with accounting principles, company procedures, and applicable tax and hospitality regulations.

Support hotel finance operations by reconciling ledgers, posting city ledger payments, processing and coding invoices and purchase orders, managing credit card and vendor reconciliations, maintaining payment and invoice records, and assisting the Director of Finance with financial reporting and controls.
