Directs on-premise key account sales across California, building strategic customer relationships, achieving profitable sales targets, coordinating internal resources, and developing account plans. Requires significant automobile and occasional air or train travel, overnight stays, wine industry expertise, team management, and a valid driver’s license.

Sell and grow wine & spirits distribution within a designated territory by building customer relationships, negotiating agreements, hosting tastings/events, educating clients, tracking sales performance, resolving billing/shipping issues, and meeting sales goals.

Perform inside and occasional field sales to prospect, develop, and close opportunities; maintain relationships with key decision makers; make outbound calls and follow up on leads; develop sales/marketing plans; provide education and host tasting events; coordinate with accounting and customer service; meet sales goals and attend meetings and events.

Drives spirits sales and supplier brand growth across on- and off-premise accounts. Serves as a spirits subject-matter expert by leading tastings, staff training, consumer events, presentations, and educational programs. Identifies market trends and portfolio opportunities while supporting marketing communications and social media engagement.

Lead and oversee the accounts receivable team, manage collections and dispute resolution, analyze aging reports and AR processes, train and supervise staff, prepare reports and support budgeting, recommend process improvements, liaise with auditors and collection agencies, and communicate AR insights to leadership.

Generate invoices, process payments and cash application, manage collections and aging reports, reconcile AR to GL, resolve billing disputes, assess customer credit, and coordinate bad-debt mitigation with agencies or legal.

Manage inventory planning, forecasting, and procurement to meet stock and service targets. Update planning tool parameters, recommend reorder adjustments, and collaborate with Brand, Logistics, and Operations. Provide data to support brand strategy, complete special projects, and ensure efficient inventory movement.
