Analyze play-test telemetry and research data to support game development decisions. The intern will query, join, validate, and summarize datasets; understand telemetry schemas; build JavaScript and Apache ECharts visualizations; conduct data-quality checks and ad-hoc analyses; integrate telemetry with survey data; and communicate findings to researchers, designers, and other nontechnical partners.

Partner with the Creative Director to maintain the visual vision and quality of a mobile 3D game. Provide artistic oversight and actionable feedback across characters, environments, animation, VFX, UI, concepts, and other visual disciplines. Steward established IP authenticity, create art direction materials and visual references, collaborate with internal teams and external developers, and support cohesive creative and product goals.

Build scalable automation platforms, testing infrastructure, developer tools, automation frameworks, telemetry systems, and data pipelines for Activision’s game development organization. Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to improve automated test coverage, analyze results, identify defects, and enhance development workflows. Maintain systems for performance, stability, and data integrity while supporting global studios and evolving automation capabilities.

Develop and advance low-level animation systems for AAA games, improving character movement, fidelity, and believability. Research, prototype, design, and implement animation features; create workflows for building and debugging animation behaviors; and collaborate with animators and engineering teams across global studios. The role requires deep skeletal animation expertise, strong C/C++ programming, 3D mathematics, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple technical initiatives.

Leads end-to-end delivery of complex data activation, analytics engineering, and platform integration programs. Coordinates engineering, product, analytics, finance, marketing technology, and studio teams; manages roadmaps, dependencies, risks, releases, migrations, governance, and operational readiness. Uses SQL and data-system fluency to validate outputs and troubleshoot issues. Establishes scalable program operating mechanisms, tracks outcomes such as data quality and reliability, and communicates technical trade-offs to stakeholders and senior leaders.

Own Activision’s global social media strategy across multiple platforms and game properties. Lead creative campaigns, editorial calendars, agencies, and cross-functional partners while producing platform-native content. Translate gaming culture, player insights, analytics, and cultural trends into audience growth and engagement strategies. Manage complex multi-title activations, budgets, deadlines, reporting, localization, and performance optimization across diverse gaming communities.

Lead strategic projects across franchises, build quantitative market and financial models, evaluate partnerships/M&A, shape portfolio and monetization strategies, and present recommendations to executives while collaborating cross-functionally.

Support studio FP&A for Call of Duty and other titles: annual and long-range planning, quarterly forecasting, variance analysis, project greenlights, hiring coordination, and studio financial leadership reporting.

Lead and execute production initiatives across game development studios: plan and supervise programs, identify and mitigate risks, collaborate with engineering and studio teams, report to senior leadership, and align technical initiatives with business objectives across Activision’s portfolio.
