Lead design, build, and operation of security infrastructure protecting ground stations, cloud, and corporate systems. Own SIEM, EDR, UEBA, firewall and VPN/ZTNA operations, DLP controls, Okta administration, IaC and automation, and mentor a growing security engineering team. Manage VPN/private connectivity, enterprise wireless, automation (Ansible/NetBox), monitoring/telemetry integration with SIEM, and ensure ITAR/CMMC compliance alongside security engineering and identity systems like Okta.

Define and evaluate RF and antenna system architectures for satellite and ground systems, perform link budgets and beamforming trade studies, design and test phased arrays and RF front ends, execute integrated physical-layer tests, debug RF performance through measurement and modeling, and support regulatory and operational RF system design and deployment.

Perform RF and spectrum analyses and simulations, develop licensing-ready technical inputs, support satellite coordination and RF link budgets, engage regulators (FCC, DoD, NASA, NOAA), draft and submit licensing and permitting materials, and integrate regulatory compliance across engineering, legal, and government-affairs teams to enable global deployment of phased-array ground stations.

Build and maintain detailed bottom-up cost models (BOMs, manufacturing, deployment) for ground station hardware and network-level costs. Partner with engineering, supply chain, and operations to identify cost drivers, evaluate design and sourcing tradeoffs, support deployment planning, track actuals versus models, and present cost risks and opportunities to leadership.

Lead electrical design for high-speed mixed-signal digital communication systems, including schematic capture, multilayer PCB layout, prototype bring-up, lab and field testing, EMI/EMC troubleshooting, and working with production to ensure manufacturable, testable products. Collaborate with RF, antenna, FPGA, firmware, and production teams to optimize system architecture, signal/power integrity, and performance.
