Lead mission formulation and architecture: develop mission concepts from customer needs, perform mission-level analyses and top-level budgets, define requirements and design for spacecraft and RF/optical instruments, run engineering trade studies using code/tools, evaluate constellation configurations, and coordinate across disciplines.

Serve as technical lead for a designated space mission across concept, development, verification, and on-orbit operations. Translate customer objectives into requirements and ICDs, manage requirements traceability, subsystem budgets, risk, design changes, and reviews. Coordinate cross-functional teams (systems, hardware, software, data, ground, operations), interface with customers, and improve engineering processes and tools.

Lead exploration and development of novel EO/IR payload concepts, build simulations and radiometric models, define system requirements, perform feasibility and trade studies, support R&D proposals and demonstrations, and collaborate across product, applied science, mission systems, and business development to translate early-stage ideas into technical architectures and customer-facing capabilities.

Implement and optimize RF DSP algorithms in HDL for real-time FPGA execution, prototype algorithms in Python and port to ARM SoCs, collaborate on instrument bring-up, calibration and system integration with RF hardware teams, author design documentation and test reports, and work in a hybrid Mountain View office.

Manage the lifecycle of commercial and government contracts: review and draft standard agreements, identify and escalate risks, support proposals, track deliverables and CDRLs, maintain government profiles (SAM.gov, PIEE, WAWF), keep audit-ready records, and coordinate with Growth, Mission Engineering, and Supply Chain.
