RF/Communications Engineering Interns will support satellite communications subsystem development through antenna measurements, active and passive testing, radio spectrum measurements, and radio performance characterization. Interns will work on an assigned project with mentorship and collaborate with the broader aerospace engineering team. Candidates must be pursuing electrical engineering and demonstrate proficiency in RF design, RF measurement techniques, or software-defined radios.

Responsibilities include contributing to Comet XL and Comet Mini projects, using NX CAD, building hardware, and working with electromechanical systems and soft goods. The Spacecraft Structures Test Engineer will oversee validation of flight hardware through structural and mechanical testing, collaborating with various teams to ensure spacecraft functionality in real environments.

Design, build, and operate highly available ground and site network infrastructure across commercial and secured environments. Architect Kubernetes platforms, enforce security and compliance controls, develop Terraform-based infrastructure as code, and establish monitoring, logging, alerting, CI/CD, and automation. Serve as a site reliability owner for mission-critical systems, driving uptime and incident response. Partner with security and mission operations teams, define architectural standards, and mentor engineers.

Support new product introduction and scalable manufacturing processes for spacecraft production. Develop production methodologies, process flows, tooling, work instructions, factory workflows, and production readiness plans. Partner with design, supply chain, quality, production, and test teams on DFM/DFA, equipment integration, process validation, documentation, configuration control, and troubleshooting as products transition from development builds to production ramp.

Architect, deploy, automate, and operate secure, scalable cloud and hybrid infrastructure across AWS GovCloud and Microsoft Azure. Build environments with Infrastructure as Code, automate provisioning and deployments, manage networking and security, monitor reliability, troubleshoot complex incidents, optimize cloud operations, and implement backup and disaster recovery. Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, security, and IT teams while documenting architectures, standards, and runbooks.

Manage the full lifecycle of government and commercial contracts, including drafting, review, negotiation support, administration, compliance tracking, modifications, renewals, and closeout. Maintain contract records, deadlines, templates, playbooks, and standard terms. Support proposals and bids, resolve contractual issues, and coordinate with legal, business development, mission management, supply chain, finance, customers, suppliers, and government counterparts.

Supervise full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including billing, collections, vendor onboarding, invoicing, aging review, and payment processing. Lead revenue recognition for complex aerospace programs under ASC 606, including point-in-time and percentage-of-completion arrangements. Support month-end close, reconciliations, accruals, contract accounting, internal controls, audit preparation, process automation, and AP/AR team development.

Leads daily help desk operations while providing hands-on Tier 1 and Tier 2 support. Manages, prioritizes, assigns, documents, and escalates tickets; troubleshoots hardware, software, operating systems, applications, networks, and user access issues across Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. Coaches technicians, provides technical guidance, ensures issue resolution, and collaborates with the IT Manager.

Own company-wide headcount planning and modeling while serving as the finance business partner to Engineering and R&D. Contribute to annual budgeting, reforecasts, and long-range planning; perform variance analysis; prepare management and executive reporting; improve FP&A processes and systems; and support purchase order and requisition approvals for major Engineering projects.
