Owns the technical performance, validation, resilience, and regulatory authorization of communications systems including RF, SATCOM, cellular, fiber, tactical radios, and mesh networks. Designs link budgets and failover architectures, troubleshoots deployments, evaluates emerging technologies, researches country-specific spectrum and certification requirements, and coordinates export controls, customs, licensing, and diplomatic approvals. Supports domestic and international defense demonstrations and deliveries, with 30–50% travel to customer, test, and partner sites.

Own the architecture, technical strategy, and production deployment of autonomy software for distributed defense systems. Lead development of sensor fusion, world modeling, mission planning, task allocation, real-time decision-making, simulation, and evaluation pipelines for resource-constrained field hardware. Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, establish safety and testing standards, and translate operator needs into reliable autonomy capabilities from prototype through deployment.

Owns communications connectivity systems spanning 5G, SATCOM, point-to-point wireless, and tactical mesh networks. Responsibilities include requirements and architecture development, trade studies, RF and link analysis, hardware selection and qualification, integration and verification testing, deployment readiness, configuration baselines, and field support. The role also evaluates emerging communications technologies, collaborates with suppliers and cross-functional teams, and supports international deployments. It is full-time onsite in Hawthorne, California, with occasional travel.

Leads company-wide data governance, lifecycle management, quality, lineage, security, and access controls. Partners with Foundry engineering to align ingestion, ETL, modeling, validation, monitoring, and analytical datasets with business needs. Oversees field data operations for test events, including sensor data capture, metadata, labeling, logistics, validation, reconciliation, and availability. Builds and manages governance and operations teams, establishes operating procedures and metrics, supports test sites, and travels regularly to company locations and test events.

Lead internal software and AI product development across business functions.
