Lead growth and performance for Yami’s English, Japanese, and Korean e-commerce markets. Own acquisition, conversion, retention, LTV, customer experience, marketing investment, and integrated growth strategy. Manage nine employees through two functional leads while partnering with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and Merchandising. Develop market-specific strategies, measurement frameworks, and cross-functional initiatives across paid media, creators, affiliates, CRM, social, campaigns, and on-site merchandising.

Requires bilingual English and Mandarin communication, strong Excel skills, analytical ability, and knowledge of general ledger accounting.

Administers employee benefits, including enrollment, leave programs, COBRA, invoices, and compliance. Supports compensation benchmarking, pay structures, annual review cycles, market analysis, and HRIS data accuracy. Partners with HR, Finance, Payroll, and Talent Acquisition while providing broader HR generalist support across onboarding, employee relations, policies, performance management, and employee communications. The role also improves processes through automation and supports U.S. and Canadian compliance.

Drives wholesale sales growth by developing national retail, distributor, and foodservice partnerships across North America. Manages retail accounts, negotiates pricing, presents products, expands assortments, coordinates launches and promotions, monitors sales and inventory, and builds strategic customer relationships. Collaborates with purchasing, logistics, marketing, finance, and operations teams while identifying market opportunities and attending trade events.

Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including month-end close, intercompany transactions, invoice accruals, dispute resolution, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and bank relationships. Lead process improvements, automation, and integration efforts while ensuring compliance and operational accuracy. Coach and develop AP staff, support organizational growth, and serve as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders. Professional English and Mandarin fluency is required.

Partners with hiring managers to define staffing needs, develop sourcing strategies, engage candidates, and manage end-to-end recruitment. Maintains ATS records, analyzes talent markets and hiring metrics, improves recruiting workflows, supports employer branding and career events, applies AI tools to recruiting, and assists with immigration and broader HR initiatives.

Own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of e-commerce search and discovery systems. Improve relevance, query understanding, ranking, recommendations, personalization, navigation, and result presentation while optimizing CTR, conversion, null-result rate, and search-driven GMV. Partner with Engineering, Data Science, Merchandising, Content, and UX to define metrics, evaluate machine-learning capabilities, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive execution across distributed teams.
