Provide executive-level secretarial and clerical support for capital habeas attorneys: file court documents, prepare and edit pleadings and correspondence, maintain calendars and case files, screen calls, process mail, and cover multiple attorneys as needed. Work is in-office, may require evenings/weekends, and supports post-conviction death-penalty litigation.

Represent indigent state prisoners and immigration detainees in federal habeas actions. Duties include client communication, transcript summarization, legal research, directing investigations, working with experts, drafting petitions/motions/briefs, conducting evidentiary hearings, and appellate argument. May be assigned federal criminal or capital habeas cases.
