Own control architecture for rotating machinery and test rigs, including compressors, motor drives, expansion turbines, and thermofluid loops. Develop safety interlocks, fault handling, speed-based capacity control, and hardware-in-the-loop validation. The engineer will take designs from mean-line analysis and CFD through geometry release, build, test-stand validation, performance-map analysis, and iterative redesign. Work spans advanced cooling systems, novel working fluids, high-speed motor-driven machines, and rapid development from concept to production.

Own the electrical design and integration of high-power machines, including DC buses, inverters, motor drives, magnetic-bearing amplifiers, test-cell power systems, and load banks. Lead EMC, harmonics, bearing-current, insulation, arc-flash, and electrical-safety work through installation and commissioning. Develop safe work practices for energized equipment and bring first-of-a-kind systems to full-rating operation.

Design and engineer mechanical cooling systems for modular data center units, performing hydraulic and heat-transfer calculations, sizing equipment, developing vendor packages (CDUs, pumps, dry coolers), supporting prototypes and initial builds, and validating designs against test/commissioning data.

Responsible for overseeing physical infrastructure installation projects, ensuring quality control, managing contractors, and acting as a subject matter expert in fiber optics and structured cabling.
