Owns the design and release of vehicle exterior and underhood trim components from concept through production and launch. Responsibilities include developing components, establishing cost and performance targets, coordinating with suppliers and cross-functional teams, ensuring CAD and drawing quality, managing design risks through DFMEA, supporting root-cause analysis, leading design reviews, implementing product improvements, and supporting prototype and production builds.

Design and develop automotive exterior trim components from concept through production-intent definition using CATIA 3DX. Create A-surfaces, engineering surfaces, interfaces, attachment features, datum schemes, BOMs, and specifications. Apply GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, DFM, strength calculations, cost analysis, and material selection. Collaborate with suppliers and component teams, improve design efficiency and reduce costs, and travel to client sites as required.
