Own and develop star trackers and optical navigation systems. Implement GNC flight, analysis, and test artifacts; develop identification, attitude-resolution, and object-detection algorithms; support relative navigation; verify sensor performance via simulation and hardware; contribute to attitude determination, flight and simulation software, and ground/on-orbit tools. Lead design, analysis, test, and sustainment of the Helios Kick Stage vehicle. Manage a team of responsible engineers, define product roadmaps and engineering processes, drive component test campaigns, and coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, and operations to deliver a reliable, flight-ready space vehicle.

Lead reliability for propulsion hardware across design, manufacturing, and flight. Investigate and eliminate build defects, develop inspections and acceptance criteria, perform development testing, provide design-for-reliability guidance, optimize MRP/ERP traceability, build quality metrics, train technicians, and drive corrective actions and supplier quality improvements.

Design, write, and debug flight and ground software integration/regression tests (simulation and hardware-in-the-loop). Implement tests in Python, support C/C++ debug, bring up Docker containers and HIL environments, integrate hardware emulators, automate tests in CI/CD, and collaborate with GNC and ops to create day-in-the-life spacecraft test scenarios.
