Own the cradle-to-grave design, analysis, fabrication, testing, documentation, and integration of pressurized and unpressurized aerospace structures for advanced propulsion space vehicles. Define systems and requirements, establish load cases, support qualification campaigns and production ramp-up, and collaborate with propulsion, avionics, GNC, manufacturing, test, thermal, and loads teams. Apply structural analysis, materials knowledge, design-for-manufacturing, reliability improvements, and verification methods to deliver flightworthy hardware.

Design, build, deploy, and support standardized electrical test hardware, including DAQ systems, controls, instrumentation, power distribution, test carts, and interface assemblies. Create schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and assembly documentation. Manage hardware through procurement, fabrication, integration, commissioning, deployment, and maintenance. Collaborate with software automation, IT, and test operations teams to configure assets, troubleshoot electrical and software interfaces, and support test-site bring-up.

Develops and optimizes manufacturing and metrology processes for high-precision opto-mechanical assemblies, including spaceflight cameras, star trackers, and sun sensors. Designs optical alignment tooling, supports assembly integration and testing, improves production yields, resolves floor issues, and updates work instructions. Partners with optical design and cross-functional teams on manufacturability, quality, reliability, environmental testing, and functional performance. Provides technical guidance to opto-mechanical technicians and owns optical, vibration, thermal, and other production testing.

Lead and mentor a team of PCBA manufacturing engineers, own PCBA manufacturing across products, set up and run SMT lines, develop work instructions and ATP testing, collaborate with design for manufacturability, and optimize production rate, yield, cost, and timely delivery while ensuring high reliability for space applications.

Manages spacecraft actuator engineering across design, analysis, testing, production ramp, flight operations, sustainment, and improvement. Leads responsible engineers, defines actuator product roadmaps, develops engineering processes, executes test campaigns, and coordinates with engineering, manufacturing, operations, leadership, and business development. The role also includes individual technical ownership of actuator development through design, integration, testing, and flight operations.

Lead technical execution and integration for large, multi-mission space programs from kickoff through delivery. Manage customer interfaces, negotiate with launch providers, translate requirements into SOWs, drive mission assurance and readiness reviews, resolve technical anomalies, and build scalable processes and documentation. Occasionally travel (<20%).

Lead spacecraft mechanisms design, analysis, testing, operation, sustainment, and improvement. Manage and grow a team of responsible engineers, set product roadmap, implement engineering processes, execute test campaigns, and collaborate with manufacturing and operations to deliver reliable flight components.

Own spacecraft build from assembly through launch vehicle integration. Execute system-level testing, lead system integration and activation with technician teams, manage multidisciplinary schedules, identify and drive resolution of build issues, and provide design feedback to improve spacecraft processing.

Develop and maintain embedded software for custom avionics hardware supporting spacecraft flight and ground testing. Responsibilities include low-level processor functions, peripheral and communication interfaces, closed-loop controls, fault detection, hardware integration, prototyping, and rigorous production code. Collaborate with avionics, GNC, propulsion, and other engineering teams while troubleshooting embedded systems using hardware and source-level debugging tools.

Lead and mentor RF manufacturing engineers while owning RF manufacturing across spacecraft products. Develop manufacturing work instructions, acceptance testing, inspection, and environmental qualification processes for RF circuit boards and passives. Improve production rate, yield, quality, reliability, and cost; support automated test systems; troubleshoot hardware and test failures; and collaborate with design engineering on manufacturability and design reviews. Ensure timely delivery of RF hardware and drive root-cause resolution in a high-reliability space manufacturing environment.
