The VP, Legal will help build and operate GITAI’s legal function, supporting government and commercial contracts, supplier and strategic partnerships, export controls, corporate governance, fundraising, employment matters, and compliance. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating agreements, advising on risk, managing outside counsel, supporting government proposals, and developing legal processes, templates, and approval systems. The role is fully onsite in Torrance, California, requires U.S. citizenship and may require security-clearance eligibility.

Owns sourcing and supplier execution for mechanical parts, assemblies, and subsystems from engineering release through delivery. Reviews drawings, GD&T, materials, tolerances, and manufacturing requirements; selects suppliers and manufacturing paths; manages RFQs, negotiations, purchasing, quality, schedules, testing, and delivery. Builds and improves a supplier network supporting rapid hardware iteration across machining, fabrication, additive manufacturing, special processes, and mechanical assembly.

Scale GITAI's technical recruiting by performing evidence-based technical screenings of engineering portfolios, CAD/PCB work and test artifacts. Independently assess fit for hardware roles, protect engineering time, manage candidate pipelines via ATS, challenge hiring managers when needed, and continuously improve technical judgment and market knowledge.

Lead end-to-end solid rocket motor development, including propellant formulation, motor design, manufacturing, hot-fire testing, performance analysis, failure investigation, and design iteration. Make independent engineering decisions and resolve risks across combustion, materials, manufacturing, and propulsion performance while collaborating with mechanical, manufacturing, avionics, and test teams.

Design and own PCB and avionics hardware for spacecraft and robotic systems from architecture through schematic, layout, fabrication release, assembly support, bring-up, and test. Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, software, systems, and manufacturing teams on packaging, thermal, vibration, interfaces, and integration. Apply DFM/DFA/DFT, select components, debug PCBAs with lab equipment, support environmental and field testing, and maintain clear engineering documentation. Work onsite and support U.S. government space and defense programs.

The VP, Strategic Finance will partner with the CEO to lead equity financing strategies, investor outreach, and manage financial communications while building a finance function for GITAI, a space robotics company.

Lead project-level mechanical design from architecture through detailed design, fabrication, integration, and test. Make system-level tradeoffs under ambiguous requirements, stay hands-on with CAD and hardware builds, run and diagnose tests, iterate quickly, and provide technical direction and design review for other engineers.

Lead end-to-end electrical hardware development: circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, fabrication, bring-up, debugging, and test. Provide technical leadership in a specialized domain (power, RF, FPGA, high-speed digital, motor control), run design reviews, drive cross-functional trade-offs, and resolve root-cause failures during integration and testing.

Design, build, and test mechanical hardware for interceptor vehicles from concept through prototype, manufacture, field testing, failure investigation, and redesign. Work includes structures, motor and propulsion interfaces, avionics packaging, fixtures, and ground-support equipment; collaborate with cross-functional teams and support remote field tests.

Lead mechanical development of interceptor hardware from architecture through prototype manufacturing, integration, field testing, and redesign. Own structures, motor mounts, avionics packaging, internal mechanisms, fixtures, and ground-support equipment. Translate requirements into manufacturable designs, lead tests and failure investigations, provide technical direction, and work hands-on with machinists and suppliers in demanding field conditions.
