Founding in-house litigation lawyer to establish and run Hiscox's California Staff Counsel office. Manage a high-volume civil litigation caseload from intake through trial and appeal, hire and train staff, implement case management and e-discovery technologies, liaise with Claims, and drive process improvements and cost-effective litigation strategies.

Provide litigation support for insurance defense: e-file court documents, manage calendars and case files, draft and proofread legal documents, communicate with clients and courts, prepare trial binders, and ensure deadlines and document organization are met.
