Leads the Little Tokyo Business Improvement District, overseeing strategy, budgets, contracts, personnel, compliance, marketing, community partnerships, vendors, and operational initiatives. The Executive Director reports to the board, manages staff and resources, develops performance metrics, supports economic vitality, represents the organization to community and City stakeholders, and ensures clean, safe, and vibrant public spaces and business conditions.

Leads integrated marketing, communications, branding, digital campaigns, media relations, and community engagement for a nonprofit organization. Manages staff, consultants, vendors, budgets, partnerships, and external communications while aligning outreach with organizational priorities. Evaluates campaign performance, supports events and resource development, represents the organization publicly, and contributes to strategic planning and cross-functional leadership.

Manages nonprofit advancement operations, including prospect research, donor cultivation and stewardship, CEO briefing preparation, CRM management, sustaining member billing, grant writing, institutional giving, and fundraising pipeline tracking. Partners with senior leadership to advance donor, corporate, foundation, and stakeholder relationships, coordinates follow-through, maintains grants calendars and records, and supports development initiatives and events.

Leads and scales the nonprofit’s philanthropic program, serving as lead frontline fundraiser for major gifts, annual giving, institutional funding, sponsorships, and capital campaigns. Builds donor pipelines, cultivates and solicits major prospects, advises the CEO and Board, coaches volunteers, manages development staff, strengthens fundraising systems, oversees donor communications and grants, and optimizes Salesforce and fundraising data.

Lead all fundraising, donor engagement, and philanthropic partnerships to drive sustainable revenue growth. Develop and execute comprehensive development strategies, cultivate major gifts and institutional funding, oversee campaigns and events, manage and coach the development team, partner with the CEO and Board, and use data and CRM systems to measure and improve fundraising performance.

Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations, lead month- and year-end closes, oversee general ledger, AP/AR, payroll accounting, reconciliations, audits, and grant financial management. Support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, internal controls, process improvements, and serve as a finance partner to programs and business development.
