The Account Executive will engage with prospects and customers to drive sales of Docker products, achieve targets, and manage relationships effectively. Responsibilities include lead generation, account management, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for customer success.

Lead technical vision and architecture for Dockers Developer Tools: build a self-service internal platform, CI/CD and build systems, integrate AI/LLM agents, set SDLC tenets, establish standards for observability, security, reliability, and productize internal tooling into customer offerings.

Lead and implement backend and developer-experience initiatives across Clojure and Go systems. Define architecture, build and operate distributed services, event pipelines, databases and APIs, improve observability and reliability, mentor senior engineers, and drive cross-team delivery from ambiguity to measurable outcomes while participating in on-call rotation.

Design, build, and operate Go-based services powering Docker's secure build and CI infrastructure. Deliver isolation, identity, policy, provenance, attestation and signing capabilities, improve reliability of Docker Build Cloud and Auto Builds, own features end-to-end, participate in on-call rotation, and collaborate with product, security, and platform teams to produce secure, reproducible developer and agent workflows.

Lead architecture and long-term technical direction for Docker Hardened Images (DHI). Define platform standards for image and Helm chart hardening, supply-chain posture (SBOM, SLSA, signing), and distribution. Drive cross-functional roadmaps, resolve ambiguous packaging/security problems, influence upstream OSS, mentor senior engineers, shape test and tooling strategy, and participate in on-call incident response.

The Account Executive, Strategic is responsible for managing key strategic accounts, developing plans to increase revenue, ensuring client satisfaction, achieving sales quotas, conducting market analysis, and leading contract negotiations with a focus on long-term relationships.

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll develop, deploy, and monitor microservices, enforce security policies, and improve automation tooling.

Design, build, and own disposable isolated microVM sandboxes and related runtime infrastructure for AI coding agents. Improve reliability, performance, and security across macOS, Windows, and Linux; lead architecture, mentor engineers, engage open-source communities, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate with Product and adjacent teams.

Provide embedded product and commercial legal counsel across the product lifecycle, advise on open source licensing and AI/LLM issues, draft product-facing terms, negotiate commercial agreements for SaaS and hybrid deployments, support IP strategy and regulatory compliance, and build playbooks and templates to enable Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to move quickly within legal guardrails.
