Leads technical solution development for strategic space and aerospace pursuits. Translates customer requirements into mission architectures, CONOPS, technical approaches, and differentiated solutions. Conducts trade studies, analyzes risks, develops proposal content, supports customer engagements, and guides multidisciplinary teams across defense, intelligence, civil, and commercial space opportunities. Collaborates with engineering, capture, program, business development, and executive stakeholders to create executable, customer-focused solutions.

Develop and lead persuasive federal proposal content for national security, civil, and commercial space pursuits. Create win themes, strategic messaging, storyboards, executive summaries, technical narratives, and content plans. Translate complex aerospace and technical concepts into customer-focused messaging, collaborate with capture managers and subject matter experts, support proposal reviews, mentor writers, and maintain content libraries and best practices across multiple concurrent pursuits.

Own the end-to-end spacecraft guidance, navigation, and control subsystem across multiple programs. Lead GNC architecture, attitude and orbit control design, estimation, simulations, verification, flight software integration, telemetry analysis, anomaly resolution, and mission operations support. Define control laws for high-Delta-V maneuvering, precision pointing, station-keeping, and proximity operations. Mentor engineers and serve as the technical authority in system reviews and spacecraft development.

Lead spacecraft software architecture and systems engineering for Ranger spacecraft across development, integration, mission execution, and on-orbit operations. Manage requirements, interfaces, verification, technical baselines, architecture trade studies, and system validation. Collaborate across flight and ground software, autonomy, GNC, communications, avionics, and spacecraft teams. Support mission planning, operational readiness, technical reviews, customer presentations, and complex issue resolution while mentoring engineers and contributing to software integration and development.

Lead end-to-end federal proposal efforts from RFP release through submission. Coordinate technical, pricing, contracts, executive, and business development stakeholders; manage schedules, compliance matrices, reviews, production, quality assurance, risks, and competing priorities. Develop content strategies, win themes, processes, templates, and best practices for large-scale national security, civil, commercial, aerospace, and defense pursuits.

Lead strategic capture efforts across federal, national security, civil, and commercial space markets. Identify and shape opportunities, build customer and partner relationships, develop account and capture plans, coordinate technical solutions and proposals, support pricing and teaming strategies, and drive pursuits through contract award. The role works closely with engineering, program, finance, executive, and proposal teams while advising stakeholders on market trends, customer priorities, and growth opportunities.

Develop, integrate, and support mission-critical ground software for spacecraft testing, command and telemetry, mission operations, and real-time communications. Build distributed systems, data pipelines, APIs, and operational tooling; contribute to architecture, requirements, verification, testing, CI/CD, deployment, documentation, and operational readiness. Collaborate with flight software, avionics, AI&T, systems engineering, and mission operations teams. Support on-call rotations and critical real-time mission events.

Supports spacecraft hardware build, integration, and test operations by developing inspection procedures, verifying conformity to engineering documentation, investigating nonconformances, and driving RCCA/CAPA. Performs and monitors inspections and environmental tests, ensures compliance with cleanroom, contamination, ESD, lifting, and hazardous-operation controls, maintains calibration compliance, and supports internal, customer, and government audits. Partners cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and test teams to improve process quality and mission reliability.

Perform reliability and mission assurance analyses for spacecraft and supporting systems, including FMEA/FMECA, FTA, reliability predictions, physics-of-failure evaluations, parts reliability, and risk assessments. Influence spacecraft architecture, hardware design, supplier selection, redundancy, and component choices. Support environmental qualification, life testing, failure investigations, and verification activities while maintaining technical documentation. Develop reliability processes within an AS9100 Rev D quality system and collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams. The role requires experience with flight hardware or similarly high-reliability aerospace systems and U.S. person status.
