Design, build, and operate scalable backend services (primarily Python/Flask). Own projects end-to-end, identify high-impact opportunities, collaborate across remote teams, ensure reliability with testing, monitoring, and DevOps practices, and iterate based on product/customer feedback.

Own end-to-end US payroll for 300+ employees, ensuring accurate biweekly/semi-monthly processing, multi-state compliance, deductions and garnishments, benefits and 401(k) reconciliation, payroll reporting and GL reconciliations, and support year-end activities. Lead migration from UKG Pro to ADP and integrate HiBob, drive process improvements, and collaborate with People, Finance, and external vendors.

Provide broad in-house legal counsel across commercial contracting, FinTech/payments, employment, IP, product/privacy, litigation, and corporate governance. Build legal processes, draft templates, manage outside counsel, advise on AI tool governance, and support M&A and global compliance as Slice scales.
