Supports the Supply Chain Team with indirect procurement, market analysis, cost optimization, and service-quality improvement. Leads development of RF products and phased-array systems from architecture through prototyping, integration, testing, flight development, and production transition. Models antenna performance, develops active-antenna test plans, assesses requirements and COTS components, supports proposals and engineering reviews, troubleshoots anomalies, interfaces with customers and vendors, and collaborates across RF, digital, power, mechanical, thermal, and structural engineering teams.

Supports Rocket Lab’s HASTE business development activities through proposal drafting, opportunity tracking, pipeline analysis, demand forecasting, technical customer responses, mission planning, and business-case development. The role coordinates with Engineering, Production, Mission Management, and Communications teams; maintains customer-facing technical materials; tracks leads and proposals in Salesforce; supports agreements and Jira workflows; and researches hypersonic test, suborbital launch, and national security markets.

Develop and maintain software for robotic platforms, motion-control systems, sensing systems, embedded interfaces, test environments, and production tools. Integrate software with motors, sensors, actuators, controllers, and industrial networks. Support simulation, hardware bring-up, integration, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production operations while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering and manufacturing teams.

The role requires full-time, on-site availability in Long Beach, California, for at least 12 consecutive weeks beginning May or June 2027.

Supports development and operation of the Archimedes propulsion engine for Rocket Lab’s Neutron launch vehicle. Works with mentors and cross-functional engineering, testing, and vehicle operations teams to apply engineering concepts, solve technical challenges, lead development projects, and communicate progress. The internship is full-time and on-site for at least 12 consecutive weeks beginning in early 2027.

Supports development and operation of the Archimedes rocket engine for Rocket Lab’s Neutron launch vehicle. The intern applies engineering concepts to real propulsion challenges, collaborates with mentors and cross-functional development, testing, and vehicle operations teams, and develops technical and professional skills through project work, progress updates, and learning activities.

Supports the Fluid Components team in designing and developing valves and actuators for rocket engines and launch vehicles. Works with engineering professionals and mentors to apply engineering concepts, solve technical challenges, collaborate across teams, and contribute to development projects. The internship is full-time and onsite for at least 12 consecutive weeks in Long Beach, California, beginning in early 2027.

Ensures supplier quality for harnesses, cables, parts, services, and manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include supplier sourcing and qualification, technical quality flow-downs, PPAP oversight, supplier performance analysis, root-cause and corrective-action leadership, SPC and yield improvement, process qualification, and cross-functional issue resolution. The role partners with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and suppliers to improve quality, cost, cycle time, and reliability in regulated aerospace production.

Develops and analyzes trajectories for launch vehicles and spacecraft, including orbital maneuvers, rendezvous, station keeping, launch windows, delta-V budgets, and collision avoidance. Supports mission design, flight software and GNC validation, simulation tool development, mission readiness reviews, real-time mission operations, anomaly response, and post-launch analysis for Earth, lunar, and interplanetary missions.
