Develop and maintain full-stack software for Rocket Lab’s Manufacturing Execution System and ERP-integrated tools. Build frontend and backend applications using relational databases, REST APIs, and service-oriented architecture. Apply automated testing, code reviews, Agile practices, Git-based collaboration, documentation, and DevOps or SRE principles. Develop and analyze trajectories for launch vehicles and spacecraft across Earth, lunar, and interplanetary missions. Perform orbital propagation, rendezvous planning, station-keeping, launch window analysis, delta-V budgeting, collision avoidance, and contingency planning. Collaborate with flight software and GNC teams, produce trajectory data for mission reviews, enhance simulation infrastructure, and support real-time mission operations, anomaly response, and post-launch analysis.

Build and operate Rocket Lab’s observability platform across AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes environments. Responsibilities include managing Grafana-based telemetry systems, dashboards, alerting, metrics collection, infrastructure as code, CI/CD integrations, and monitoring standards. The role also develops AI agents and quality automation for CI/CD testing, troubleshoots complex observability issues, and improves reliability, security, and operational response for mission-critical space systems.

Designs lightweight spacecraft systems, mechanisms, and satellite bus configurations from concept through production, testing, and operation. Responsibilities include CAD modeling, production drawings, FEA and hand calculations, design reviews, test procedures, and hands-on flight hardware development. Releases work orders and inventory kit requests, tracks material shortages and build readiness, maintains production part master data, and expedites subassemblies. Owns the technical roadmap, P&L, and lifecycle execution of sensitive national security space platforms from prototype through flight and responsive production. Leads multiple programs, cross-functional engineering teams, suppliers, and subcontracts; manages technical, schedule, and supply-chain risks; develops production capabilities; and serves as the primary customer contact for U.S. Government national security customers. The role also supports proposals, captures, budgets, forecasts, and team leadership.
