Manages international government and institutional crew-partnership accounts for Vast’s commercial space business. Responsibilities include developing country and customer strategies, identifying sovereign prospects, analyzing competition, managing sales opportunities, preparing executive engagements, hosting government delegations, representing Vast at conferences, and coordinating legal, mission operations, training, and communications teams to advance deals.

Supports satellite business development as the technical bridge between engineering and prospective customers. Advises customers on system-level tradeoffs involving propulsion, payload, power, and performance; operates simulation tools; develops technical proposals; responds to RFIs and RFPs; and represents engineering at customer meetings, conferences, and public forums. The role also refines internal analysis tools, applies AI to engineering workflows, and collaborates cross-functionally throughout the sales cycle.

Leads NASA-focused business development for Vast’s lunar and cislunar initiatives. Responsibilities include developing NASA lunar market strategy, managing customer engagement and capture efforts, shaping opportunities, building international partnerships, analyzing NASA funding priorities, advising leadership on cost and risk, supporting proposals, and representing Vast at industry events. The role requires strong knowledge of NASA procurement, civil space programs, government contracting, and commercial space systems.

Support and own sections of large proposals, conduct customer and market research, maintain CRM and pipeline hygiene, prepare customer-ready materials, represent BD in customer meetings, track industry and competitive developments, and perform ad-hoc BD tasks to drive satellite commercialization efforts.
