Manage multi-state payroll processing and employment tax compliance across federal, state, and local jurisdictions. Responsibilities include payroll transactions, tax filings, reconciliations, year-end reporting, tax notices, audits, payroll records, and resolving discrepancies. The role partners with Finance, People Operations, auditors, and external providers while using payroll, HRIS, tax, timekeeping, and Excel systems to improve accuracy, controls, and processes.

Oversee global payroll operations for a growing, multi-state employer: manage payroll cycles, ensure compliance with payroll laws and taxes, coordinate timekeeping/HRIS, process new hires/terminations/garnishments, produce audit reports, resolve payroll inquiries, and collaborate with HR and accounting to maintain accurate payroll systems and reporting.
