Real estate search engine Ylopo gets investment from Move Inc.

Move Inc., the owner of brands such as Realtor.com and TigerLead Solutions, has announced its investment into LA's real estate search engine Ylopo. While the terms of the deal aren't disclosed, the company did announce that Ylopo’s technology is already being incorporated into Move Inc.’s software offerings.

Founded in 2013, Ylopo uses machine learning and data mining to develop an inclusive rental and real estate search engine. Using the search engine, Ylopo will recommend real estate offerings that customers are most attracted to based on their preferences.

The co-founder of Move Inc.’s lead SaaS management product, Howard Tager, jumped on Ylopo’s management team this past March. Impressed with the company’s platform, Tager urged the higher-ups at Move Inc. to take notice. With the investment coming two months later, Move Inc. hopes to incorporate Ylopo’s technology across multiple software products under Move Inc.’s helm. Move Inc. is the company’s sole outside investor.
