Everyone in LA seems to be hiring. From data scientists to a variety of internships, local startups are gearing up for 2018 by bringing in the most talented professionals in Southern California. As these companies grow their teams, a number of them are looking to add leaders in a variety of functions, including data analytics, engineering, communications, marketing, financial planning and more. Here are eight startups hiring for leadership roles:

With well over 3,000 employees working for the company in a wide variety of roles, Deluxe Entertainment, a global, diversified media company, is consistently in the middle of a hiring spree. At the moment, the century-old company is looking to hire for three leadership positions, including a director of business transformation and integration, a director of financial planning and analysis and a director of strategic account services.

Founded by one of LA’s growing list of serial entrepreneurs, Factual provides a platform that helps developers by providing them access to massive quantities of data to help them build better location-aware apps. While in the midst of an engineering-heavy hiring marathon, the company is also looking to add a director of product management and a director of sales engineering to its roster.

With more than $70 million in funding to date and two major acquisitions, digital and mobile advertising developer OpenX boasts a suite of tools that help publishers reach their optimal audiences across all screens. The company is in the process of searching for a director of corporate communications, as well as a vice president, marketing.

One of a number of new green tech companies to put down roots in the LA area, Inspire offers users a subscription service to help combine personalized clean energy with their smart devices to help everyone adopt and implement clean energy solutions in their home. The company is looking to add a director of product marketing, as well as a VP of financial planning and analysis, in addition to a number of other senior roles across various departments.

Located just a block from the beach, PatientPop has developed a suite of tools that allow medical practices to continue to focus on their patients while also growing their business. In addition to a number of senior-level roles in the data science and engineering departments, the company is hiring a director of product marketing and a director of customer support.

Just a few months removed from a $29 million round of funding to help scale its remote-based clinical trial platform, Science 37 is looking to add five — yes, five — different directors as soon as possible. In addition to a and a director of strategic alliances, the company wants to bring in a senior director of patient recruitment, a senior director of clinical operations and a compliance director.

Just a few months ago, Venice’s System1 helped LA-based startups collectively raise more than $680 million by closing a mammoth $270 million round of funding to help grow its suite of adtech products and rapidly grow its team. Unsurprisingly, the company is hoping to onboard a number of senior-level employees and directors. Specifically, the company wants to add a vice president/senior director of accounting and tax, as well as a director of product, consumer applications.

Just shy of its fourth birthday, Joybird is an online furniture retailer that offers customers hand-crafted, highly customized pieces to turn any space into a home. To keep up with the demand, the company is looking for a director of data and analytics to make an impact on the customer’s experience by leveraging data to inform strategic business decisions.
