Innovate Pasadena’s Inaugural Cyber Happy Hour, Monday, January 22 at 1 p.m.

Innovate Pasadena, a fantastic community organization that regularly hosts events to promote Pasadena as a major hub for technology, is hosting its first ever cyber happy hour this week in conjunction with cybersecurity company Tevora and The Walt Disney Company. The event will feature a cybersecurity capture the flag-style hackathon where teams can compete against cybersecurity professionals to take on a a cyber obstacle course.

Startup Female Founders: How to Get Ready for Funding, Tuesday, January 23 at 6 p.m.

This week's Los Angeles Startup Founder 101 will focus on providing actionable insight for female founders out there. Complete with guest speakers Delilah Panio, founder of Stiletto Dash Inc., and Angela Lee, CEO and co-founder of From Fat to Finish Line, the discussion will include everything involving raising capital. Stop by and enjoy the presentations, a networking session and an introduction to the Founder Institute. 

Disruptors vs. Predators: Leveraging Federal Resources to Mitigate Your Risk, Wednesday, January 24 at 1 p.m.

This Wednesday, the feds are coming to Caltech for a presentation that all startups, entrepreneurs and small businesses will not want to miss out on. Learn from a panel of experts about federal resources available to help small businesses from being vulnerable to predatory practices and fraud. In addition to the panel of experts, Congresswoman Judy Chu will also be speaking at the free event.

Preccelerator Program Class 7 Demo Day, Wednesday, January 24 at 5:30 p.m.

If you leave Pasadena after the Disruptors vs. Predators event, you'll have plenty of time to make it down to the 3rd Street Promenade for the SAM Preccelerator's seventh cohort's demo day, featuring a number of innovative new startups looking to make an impact on a number of different verticals.

Developing a Bulletproof Data-Driven Marketing Strategy, Wednesday, January 24 at 5:00 p.m.
