Ready to be a Titan?

At ServiceTitan, we are building the industry leading M&A team in support of our passion to change the lives of contractors by enabling them to achieve the success they deserve through innovative software solutions. Our products and services help contractors drive revenue growth, increase end customer experience and satisfaction, and improve employee wellbeing through best in class, cloud delivered software.

To support this mission, we are searching for an experienced, outcome-driven professional to join our small, fast moving, and high impact Corporate Development and New Markets team. The ideal candidate thinks strategically, has strong oral and written communication skills, and is passionate about leading a diverse, fast-paced cross-functional team through the journey (rewards and challenges!) of successfully integrating ServiceTitan and acquired teams.

As the Director of M&A Integration, you will play a key role in the Corporate Development team working closely with business leaders and internal stakeholders to develop and execute against comprehensive integration project plans - beginning with the due diligence phase and ending with the successful integration. You will build out a cross-functional M&A playbook focused on establishing efficient processes with good governance across the entire lifecycle of a deal - including a repeatable process to measure our impact across culture, financial outcomes, and employee experience. This role will report directly to the Vice President of Corporate Development and work closely with the New Markets team and C-suite.

The ideal candidate has a growth mindset and will have the opportunity to learn other areas across the business (e.g. roles such as managing P&Ls / GM, finance, corporate development, etc.).

What You'll Do:

  • Participate in early evaluations during due diligence for M&A activities to understand the strategic objectives, help assess the candidate company, and provide the early voice on integration planning, risks, and challenges

  • Be a thought leader in the development of our M&A integration strategy as well as comprehensive integration project plans incorporating key issues discovered through diligence

  • Once strategy is defined, champion our strategy and lead execution of integration plans, and coaching cross-functional teams

  • Lead and take ownership for all aspects of the integration efforts, working with a team of functional experts from across the company, and manage weekly integration team meetings and driving proactive issues to resolution

  • Monitor status and rapidly identify issues pertaining to an acquisition, succinctly communicate those issues to the appropriate teams, and work the issues to resolve before any acquisition value deteriorates

  • Develop an integration budget for each acquisition which aligns to the plan, and is monitored regularly

  • Lead and support the refinement of integration and corporate development playbooks that incorporate prior experience and industry best practices across all key work streams

  • Drive and monitor acquisition success KPIs post-closing

  • Manage and facilitate a high volume of communication among internal and external stakeholders

  • Help collect and organize information pertaining to operational due diligence

What You'll Bring:

  • 8-12+ years’ experience in strategy, business operations, professional consulting, or investment banking with a proven track record of leading successful M&A integrations or large scale PMOs

  • Experience at a leading tech / software consolidator or software focused private equity firm or it’s portfolio companies preferred

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred

  • Experience with and/or ability to master various financial systems, including CRM, SAP, Tableau, and other BI tools

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple acquisitions simultaneously, executing against both individually as well as broader strategic initiatives

  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive effective integration planning and management

  • Entrepreneurial, agile, and efficient working style

  • Analytical, highly resourceful problem solver and quick learner; solution-oriented mindset and work approach

  • Comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity and demonstrated experience managing conflict or difficult interpersonal situations

  • Excellent communicator who can manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to connect with others

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects

  • Highly organized, reliable and detail-oriented
