Japanese game developer Sega announced in December a new stateside headquarters in Irvine for Sega of America. Members from each of Sega’s publishing departments will work at the new location.

Gearing up to deliver its Anthem Launch Edition electric motorcycle in the U.S. next summer, electric vehicle manufacturer Ryvid received a state grant to operate in SoCal. Additionally, it will operate a San Bernardino manufacturing facility in 2023 and a lithium battery manufacturing facility in San Diego County in 2025.

Developing a carbon-removal reactor that aims to decarbonize the atmosphere, CarbonCapture announced a new headquarters location in the downtown Arts District. To encompass this growing number, CarbonCapture booked 24,000 square feet of office space.

In its new downtown LA office, high-speed transportation company Virgin Hyperloop plans to transition from technology to product development. Virgin Hyperloop announced the move back in August.

HiveWatch built a cloud-native operating system that works to help businesses better respond to security threats in real-time. The LA-based company expanded its presence this past summer with a larger headquarters in South Bay. Its team has grown from 28 people to more than 60. The company’s new hybrid work-friendly office includes video-call compatible conference rooms, space to host events and other features.
