Tatari is on a mission to revolutionize TV advertising. We work with some of your favorite disruptor brands—like Calm, Vuori, Rocket Money, and hundreds more—to grow their business using linear and streaming TV ads. Our platform combines sophisticated media buying with proprietary analytics to turn TV advertising into an automated, digital-like experience. Our technology and services are pushing the industry forward, enabling businesses of any size to advertise on TV.

Named one of the 16 Hottest Ad Tech Companies by Business Insider and Best Places to Work by Inc. Magazine, Tatari is experiencing rapid growth. Our executive team is comprised of former founders and senior leaders at fast-rising startups like Shazam, TrueCar, AdapTV, and LiveRail and larger, more established tech companies like Amazon, Google, Meta, Microsoft, and Yahoo.

As a Client Strategist, you will be a trusted advisor to Tatari’s clients as you become an expert for all things Tatari (i.e. media buying strategy, measurement, etc.). You will interact with marketing and media leads (e.g. CMOs, VP of Brand/Performance, Performance Directors and Managers, etc.) across your portfolio of clients, and collaborate with internal departments to optimize and scale clients’ TV advertising campaigns. This position reports to the Director, Client Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a small team of Client Service Managers to ensure the success of their portfolio of advertisers. This also includes onboarding, mentoring, and career development of the Client Service Managers.
  • Work with Client Services and Media Buying account teams to translate client objectives into data-driven media strategies and campaign frameworks.
  • Ensure strategic initiatives are seen through to completion by holding cross-functional teams accountable, proactively escalating issues when needed, and removing roadblocks to deliver results.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a handful of key client accounts.
  • Become an expert of all-things Tatari and leverage internal subject matter experts (Engineering, Data Science, Product, etc.) to deliver exceptional services and drive product adoption
  • Spend time with clients in-person (up to 10% travel) and build relationships with C-level executives via Quarterly Business Reviews and ad-hoc meetings.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in post-sales account management/client relationship support roles, including C-level interactions, ideally within AdTech, Media Agencies, or Marketing Analytics companies
  • 4+ years of experience managing a small team
  • Strong understanding of linear and streaming TV buying and overall media landscape
  • Ability to tell a story with data
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical terms and concepts
  • Great presentation and listening skills--you come prepared to every meeting
  • You’re at ease holding a conversation with both an engineer and a CMO. You’re not a salesperson.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Bonus: programmatic experience, advanced Excel skills, advanced data visualization abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ($155,000-185,000/annually)
  • Equity compensation
  • 100% health insurance coverage for you and your dependents
  • Unlimited PTO and sick days
  • Snacks, drinks, and catered lunches at the office
  • Team building events
  • $1,000 annual continued education benefit
  • $500 WFH reimbursement
  • $125 pre-tax monthly stipend to spend on whatever you want
  • Annual mental health awareness app reimbursement
  • FSA and commuter benefits
  • Monthly Company Wellness Day Off
  • Hybrid RTO of 2 days per week. THIS IS AN IN-OFFICE POSITION

At Tatari, we believe in the importance of cultivating teams with diverse backgrounds and offering equal opportunities to all. We strive to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where every team member feels valued and diversity is celebrated.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
