The Sr. Analyst, Business Analysis role supports leadership and Business Care teams by delivering analytical decision support tools and insights for informed compensation review and decisions. It covers executing compensation, gathering, and validating performance data, and telling the story behind the data so stakeholders can act on it with confidence. The role ensures compensation is paid accurately and on time, the first time, and measures how well the compensation plan performs against business goals. It also includes investigating compensation inquiries and reported issues, performing ad-hoc analysis, developing new reporting and decision support tools, and collaborating on larger projects and initiatives. Success is measured by the accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of payments, findings, and recommendations that meet business needs. The work strengthens support teams’ effectiveness by building confidence in compensation programs and commissionable activities, and it informs organizational strategy.

Main Responsibilities:


  • Execute Business Care compensation processes, ensuring payments are accurate and delivered on time, the first time
  • Lead the investigation, validation, and resolution of compensation inquiries and reported issues from TFB Business Care teams
  • Gather, validate, and analyze compensation performance data, and translate findings into clear narratives that support leadership decision making
  • Measure and report on the success of the compensation plan, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and deliver new reports, decision support tools, and ad-hoc analyses to address evolving compensation and performance needs
  • Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional partners to define and prioritize compensation projects and initiatives
  • Provide cross-training and serve as backup support to team members to ensure continuity of operations
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by business management

Required Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • MS Office Suite: Intermediate digital literacy with the following programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, Visio, MS Access, and SQL
  • Business Care: Familiar with Care business processes
  • Data Analysis: Aggressive approach to data analysis, and reporting
  • Customer Satisfaction: Committed to providing, world-class service to our partners and customers
  • Task Management: Demonstrable ability to prioritize competing needs of multiple, constantly evolving initiatives
  • Teamwork: Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Agile: Able to work independently with limited supervision

  • Reporting Systems: Ability to craft new technical solutions to improve existing reports and tools
  • Process Improvement: Ability to conclude, advance issues, and formulate recommendations
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data and communicate findings and recommendations to Senior Management
  • Strategy Implementation: Ability to apply data analysis to real-world business situations
  • Executive Support: Proven ability to work effectively with Senior and Executive level management
  • Relational Databases: Knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, systems design, and integration
  • Wireless: Wireless industry experience
  • Financial Reporting: Financial reporting experience
  • Project Management: Project Management experience
  • Software Development: Software development experience
  • Enterprise Software: Experience with enterprise software applications (POS, CRM, SAP, Content Management & Publishing, Billing Systems

Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity: $73,040 - $131,780

National Base Pay Range: $66,400 - $119,800

The Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity represents the expected total cash compensation for this role at target performance, combining base salary and annual incentive opportunity. Actual earnings may be higher or lower depending on individual performance and overall company results. 

The base pay range reflects the compensation component of this opportunity. The candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on individual and/or company performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance. The incentive component included in the Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity reflects target performance.
