About the Job: 

As an Account Executive at true[X], you will join a small and fast-growing group targeting key decision makers and buying teams at agencies and brands within the South Central US, specifically targeting the Texas region to leverage the true[X] premium engagement offerings. The right Account Executive is a personable, confident individual with sales or account management experience in the digital marketing/media industry. Our mission is to provide the best advertising experience for consumers, the best monetization for premium publishers, and the best return for brand advertisers. The Regional Account Executive is responsible for establishing and developing relationships with advertisers (at agencies and brands) to deliver impactful results for them by optimizing the time and attention of their consumers through fewer, higher quality ads.

What you’ll do: 

  • Capitalize on an existing book of business and your own strong relationships with advertising agencies and clients in order to increase revenue through the presentation of true[X]’s services and offerings
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
  • Work closely with Account Strategy teams to conceptualize and ideate on all sales leads
  • Lead frequent pitch calls and live sales presentations
  • Develop relationships on all levels of each account to convert against sales revenue goals
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

What you have:

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience with at least 3 years of Digital Marketing industry experience
  • Experience within TV buying/selling is a +
  • Proven track record of success with respect to achieving true[X]’s Sales targets
  • Requires a Bachelor’s or equivalent related experience in Marketing and/or Sales
  • Deep knowledge of digital marketing strategies, specifically video and engagement
  • Proven ability to recognize digital marketing opportunities in solution-based selling environment
  • Experience conducting enterprise-level needs analysis across overall web presence including website(s), social, listings & citations.
  • Experience managing high-level executive relationships with agency and client side decision makers
  • Ability to devise innovative strategy, assist with proposal and pricing, present value proposition to client
  • Experience in communicating complex solutions to decision makers from Director level to business owner/manager
