Job Description

We're looking for a Sales Manager to be responsible for leading the Sales team. This position will work closely with leadership to develop a strategy to grow the business and the sales department. You will help us support decision makers with insights that help shape the sales strategy. You will bring experience with Salesforce, sales forecasting, compensation, reporting, operating cadences, and go to market strategy to ensure the sales team is set up to drive explosive revenue growth. You will be a trusted advisor to Sales leadership on key strategic decisions and help create sales execution plans.

This position can be remote or based in any of our US offices. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately. 

What you’ll do:

  • Run and manage sales forecasting process end to end 

  • Operate and lead sales QBRs, driving decisions and business outcomes throughout the process 

  • Champion data driven decisions by creating the necessary KPI reporting and Salesforce dashboards to monitor the business, and alert senior leaders of any concerning trends

  • Advise sales leadership through guided decisions by analyzing and interpreting data to uncover actions that will move the needle

  • Create ad hoc analysis as requested for urgent issues affecting the organization, such as compensation or ideal customer profile questions

  • Proactively identify and investigate business problems and opportunities, call out trends and patterns, and communicate proposals to business leaders 

  • Implement CRM audits to ensure we have impeccable Salesforce data hygiene, calling out problem areas and providing direction on how to resolve any issues

  • Alert leadership to early warning signs in our sales and marketing funnel, providing executive summaries and visualizations to communicate the message clearly and point to solutions

  • Build and maintain custom objects/ fields, validation rules, layouts, reports, dashboards, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, chatter groups, Lightning flows, email templates, and integration of sales enablement tools to optimize business processes.

 What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with enterprise software sales operations

  • Thorough understanding of the enterprise sales cycle and how Sales Operations can contribute to the success of the organization

  • Salesforce.com and Excel expert 

  • Experience working in a fast paced environment
