Sales Operations Associate, Data Operations

We’re looking for a Data Operations Associate to join Snap! As a member of our Sales Operations organization, you will be responsible for partnering with our sales team and other supporting groups to ensure the insights that drive our business are reliable. Working from our Los Angeles headquarters, you’ll collaborate with Sales Operations Leaders, Sales Managers and Reps, CRM Product Managers, and other team members to structure and streamline revenue data in our CRM (Salesforce) and downstream business intelligence systems.
What you'll do:
Treat the sales team and their cross-functional support groups as your primary customer, and perform tasks to ensure the data they consume is reliable and consistent.
Execute against a daily volume of account assignment and lead conversion requests from the sales team.
Act as a neutral arbitrator when debate or confusion around account allocation arises.
Help run our quarterly cutover process, and limit errors as we move thousands of rows of data to prepare for the new quarter.
Build and maintain an operational reporting infrastructure that captures task volume, growth patterns, and assists in capacity planning.
Define and maintain customer hierarchies in our CRM for Snap’s ecosystem of advertisers that capture our sales relationships.
Drive ad-hoc projects to help clean CRM data as needed.
Partner with a vendor-based team to conduct ongoing enrichment exercises on customer records in salesforce, including contact and account details.
Map customer records to verticals, and manage a QA loop with Sales Operations and cross-functional partners to ensure vertical insights are sound.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to understand sales as a customer and execute on tasks in a timely manner
Ability to partner with sales and technical teams to drive projects under tight deadlines
Understanding of the data inputs required to track sales funnels and how to translate data into usable insights for sales managers and to better inform the overall sales strategy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Commitment to strengthening sales operations processes through creativity and empathy
Experience working in the tech, media or digital advertising industry
Minimum Qualifications:
0-2 years of experience working in an operational role within a business context
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a business, marketing, computer science, engineering or related discipline
Expertise with Salesforce CRM, specifically Einstein Analytics (Tableau CRM) and Sales Cloud
Familiarity with programmatic advertising business models and key players
Experience supporting the data needs of a large (500-1000) sales team
Strong operational mindset & attention to detail; an ability to execute numerous daily tasks with consistency and rigor
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and an ability to initiate and drive projects to completion
