About the Role

As a Sales Development Representative, you will specialize in lead generation for our Sales Team. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is provided training on the fundamentals of the sales process and we look to promote our employees into full closing roles as Account Executives, typically in under a year. We are looking for driven, energetic, and most of all motivated people who want to jump-start their sales career by building the foundation of what it takes to be a top sales performer. Sales Development Representatives are tireless individuals who focus on cold calling medical offices all over the country to pique their interest in our services. Successful candidates must have a strong work ethic, passion to be part of Medely, and the drive to not only meet but exceed sales targets. Working closely with our Management team and our Senior Salespeople will give you the opportunity to develop your career in sales. You will learn from the best by working alongside the top performers on the sales team along with sales leadership. Self-motivated individuals looking to build a solid foundation in sales are an ideal fit for this position.  

What you will do:

  • Prospect and cold call medical practices of all types across the country
  • You are responsible for helping to scale revenue across the company and across multiple markets
  • Your success in your role will be measured on daily activity metrics (minimum 80 touches a day on average) as well as a monthly quota attainment
  • Arrange meetings for our Inside Sales Team Use tools such as Salesloft, Gong, Salesforce, and Zoominfo to stay organized and track activity throughout the week
  • Learn all the skills necessary to be promoted to a closing role in under twelve months

What you will need:

  • One year of experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
  • Healthcare experience is a plus! 
  • An interest in building or accelerating your sales career

  • You’re an excellent communicator with professional phone skills
  • Resilience, perseverance, and an ability to overcome objections 
  • Self-disciplined, organized, and ambitious. Able to consistently hit daily and monthly objectives
  • Go-getter attitude that displays initiative and persistence, all with a competitive drive

In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected base salary range for this role in Colorado is $50,000 to $55,000, annually.

This position may be eligible for additional compensation and benefits including: commission, health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave and benefits. Actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by law. Connecticut, Ohio, Rhode Island, Nevada, NYC, Maryland and Washington all have compensation laws typically requiring that the compensation is disclosed after the first round of interviews.
